The Changing Brain Conference - Aug 2025

Dr. Mariajose Metcalfe attended the 2025 Center for Neural Circuit Mapping (CNCM) Conference at UC Irvine. The meeting brought together researchers working at the intersection of neural circuits, plasticity, and recovery across systems.

The conference also provided an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues across the BRAINS R25 Program network, including Christian Cazares (UC San Diego) and Elizabeth Glater (Pomona College), highlighting the strength of cross-cohort scientific communities and long-term mentorship networks.
